DESCRIPTION Sexual Assault Awareness Month Teal & Tutu 5k/community event Saturday, April 27, 2024 River Legacy Park 701 NW Green Oaks Blvd Arlington, TX 76006 Time: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
Schedule of Events: 7:30 AM Race Day registration begins at River Legacy Park back pavilion. 8:30 AM Guest speakers & stretching activity. 9:15 AM 1-mile Fun Run/Walk 9:30 AM 5K Run/Walk begins, with awards ceremony and community event immediately following the finish.
Entry Fee for the 5k: $30per adult (18+), $15 per student (17 & under), $10 kids 10 & under

The goals of the Teal & Tutu 5k/community event is to lower the rate of sexual assault through awareness/education and promote community engagement in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
This year's race will be our signature fundraising event and it will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at River Legacy Park Proceeds benefit Speak Our Truth a nonprofit for sexual assault survivors and local organizations doing the work to support survivors.

Start getting your teams together because we will have three team award the year:
Team who raises the most money Team with most participants Team with best tutu
The team who raises the most money – The contest ends Thursday, April 26th, 2024 at 6 p.m.
Team with the most participants - The contest ends Thursday, April 26th, 2024 at 6 p.m. Race participants must register with the team when they submit their race registration or they won’t be counted for the team. The team captain will receive the prize.
The best team Tutu – pictures of tutu must be emailed to tealandtutu5k@speakourtruth.org by 6 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2024. The winner is determined by high school staff and planning committee.
