Event Description
The Springfield Downtown Development Authority is proud to bring you the Fall 5K Series again this year! We will host three races, each with different themes, costumes and prizes. All races will use the 5K route starting and ending at different locations on the route. Each competitor will receive one race medal, and a charm for each race completed. Registration will be online, or on-site, starting 1 hour before each race. Dogs are encouraged at each race and will receive their own race charms for crossing the finish line! Trophies for best dressed, first finisher, top dog finisher and overall series champion will be awarded. Get your teams and costumes together and come have fun!

November 11th - Pine Street 5k Challenge at Pine Street Crossfit - 9am
December 2nd - Christmas 5K at Moncrief Square - 5pm (ligthed evening run)

Our local Downtown Development Authority invites you to come run walk or stroll the December 5K starting at Moncrief Square. This will be lighted evening run. We will reduce the course to a one mile look that each competitor will run 3 times. The course will take advantage of the chirstmas lights and decor on Laurel Street - with rest stop provided by Loaded on Laurel. Runner/Walkers are encourage to dress up with lights, ugly sweaters or any other festive christmas decor.

Race Fee is $30 per race with Day of Registration being $40, cash or check only. We will also reactivate the active.com listing starting at 4pm for those that want to register onstie digitally.
Early packet pickup will be during the Christmas Tree Lighting at the second street parking lot on Friday eveing. More info will be mailed to you. Specific packet pickup times will be annouced by email to registered particpants closer to the event date.
