Event Description

Join us for a USAT Sprint Duathlon on the Beaches of Ocean Shores. Enjoy the scenic sites of Ocean Deer and seagulls squaking above as you make your way down Ocean Boulevard for an out and back loop taking in all the sea salt smells while competing against your triathlete companions. Top 3 males and Top 3 females receive the Golden Seagull Award. Great Spring tune up for the seaons upcoming competitive triathlons. The race starts promply at 9 am. Included in your registration is authentic Ocean Shores USAT Duathlon T-Shirt, custom designed hand towel, BLT and SR Coasters and Ocean Shores Duathlon Bumper Sticker. Come out and get a hop on Summer and enjoy the cool ocean breezes.

Event details and schedule

Beautiful quite Ocean Beach Shores a week before the summer rush. Great opportunity to get in the first Duathlon of the season with a 14 mile bike along Ocean Shores Road passing deer and a jaunt through the neighborhood streets, beach and Ocean City State Park on May 19, 2024 at 9 am. Parking at the Ocean Shores Convention Center. Secure corral at Sharky's for athletes personal belongings. There will be two water stops on both the bike and the run stocked with gel packs and cliff bars. Awaiting your finish will be hot chilli and tortilla chips. Male and Female Winners each get a $50 gift card to Sharky's.
