Event Description

Get ready for a new, epic Planet Ultra adventure!  STAGE TWO of Planet Ultra's King of the Mountains Century Challenge. 100 miles with 10,500' climbing.

Mt. Laguna Classic has all the makings of a true Classic: Tough climbs, beautiful descents, unpaved roads, a section closed to traffic.
Starting in Pine Valley (East San Diego County), the route is three loops, each climbing Mt. Laguna from a different side, with increasing difficulty and more “interesting” terrain. All loops return down Sunrise Highway, a non-technical descent with smooth pavement and a descent shoulder.
