Event Description
Do you believe in second chances? April is recognized as Second Chance Month for juveniles who are incarcerated in the justice system. Help Writers in Residence transform the lives of justice-involved youth through creative writing and mentorship by running in its inaugural 5k race where the organization started: John Carroll University located in University Heights, Ohio.
Enjoy a nice weekend 1-mile walk from John Carroll University’s campus through the beautiful neighborhood of University Heights, Ohio where it calls home. You don’t need to break a sweat to support a great cause! Families, friends, and dogs on leash are encouraged.

Sorry, but all entries are non-refundable. Once we’ve received and processed your entry, you will not receive a refund, you may not give or sell your race number to other people, and entry fees are not transferable to the next year’s race or any other race.
