Event Description

WHO: LCCS 4th-6th grade students and families 

WHAT: 6K Walk/Run in partnership with World Vision 

WHEN: Friday, April 26th 2024 10:00 am (Chapel is 9:20-9:50)

WHERE: LCCS campus- START and FINISH is at the LCCS track

WHY: To serve others by raising money to supply clean water to those who have none

COST: Student registration is $25.  (If finances are a barrier, please let me know.) For adults who would like to register, the fee is $30 . You may also donate online or at the event.

This is the average distance an individual will walk to get water (about 3.7 miles).  The water they gather is dirty, and it is often the children who are sent on this journey.  

World Vision works to raise money to provide wells that will give communities clean water.

Our 4th-6th graders will partner with World Vision by participating in a 6K on April 26th.  Students and their families are welcome to walk or run. 

Come support LCCS grades 4th-6th as they cover 6K and donate back to World Vision.

Each student registered before April 16th will receive a t-shirt and a finisher Medal.  Shirts are not guaranteed after the 15th.
