Event Description

Every baseball and softball athlete dream of hitting that home run and running around the diamond to home plate. Sign up for Home Run Derby or Run the Bases with no home run required.

Home Run Derby is all it is cracked up to be! Participants must be ages 10 and up and pay $25 for the best 5 at-bats. Raise funds and get more at-bats. For every $5 raised will include another at-bat to hit a home run plus other incentives.The maximum at-bats allowed is 12. You can bring your own pitcher or utilize one of our local coaches to pitch to you. Participants are required to bring their own batting helmet and bat. Batting helmets are required to be worn for the participants at-bat.

Run the Bases Derby is an event that all participants will be able to run the diamond a minimum of two times with entry. Share your event as a fundraiser for incentives and challenge to run the bases many times.

With entry to either derby, every participant will get a slice of pizza (cheese or pepperoni) and a standard baseball.

How it works:

1. Click Sign Up to register the participant. You can elect to register and fundraise your registration fees by Feb 20 or you can pay for them initially. Your credit card information is still required and will be charged the minimum for the selected derby (Run the Bases - $20, Home Run Derby - $25) if your funds are not met by Feb 20.
2. Share your fundraising page with family and friends to get more times to run the bases or hit the ball PLUS baseball/softball themed incentives. Every $5 raised after the minimum that is another lap around the diamond for Run the Bases OR another hit for Home Run Derby.
3. A cash team prize will be awarded to any team with the most funds raised. Just join or create your team and start fundraising. Highest team wins $150 and second highest team wins $50. For recreational leagues the funds will be given to the department to be disbursed for end of season awards and party.
4. *** T-ball players and youngsters 5 and under will run the bases at 6:15pm. Parents are welcome to join them.
   
   *** At 6:30 ball players from ages 6-10 will run together. Starting at 6:45, youth 11 years and up will run the bases. If sibling are registered and meet two different age groups the siblings can run in the younger age group together. If there is special needs request we can accommodate for an earlier start.
   
   Home Run Derby starts at 6:30 on the second ball field and will be given a number at check-in.
   
   Enjoy a slice of pizza and cheering on the other participants.

Registration includes:
2 laps minimum around the bases or 5 At-bats 
1 slice of pizza (cheese or pepperoni) and water
standard baseball
pictures
music and fun with friends

Additional Incentives:
Wear your team uniform and get to run the bases an extra lap or take an additional hit
Raise $35 for Run the Bases- run the bases 5 times, get the standard registration PLUS wooden miniature baseball bat
Raise $35 for Home Run Derby - 7 at-bats, get the standard registration PLUS wooden miniature baseball bat
Raise $50 for Run the Bases- run the bases 8 times, get the standard registration PLUS wooden miniature baseball bat, and baseball drawstring bag
Raise $50 for Home Run Derby - 10 at-bats, get the standard registration PLUS wooden miniature baseball bat, and baseball drawstring bag

The person that hits the ball the furthest and not foul will win 2 tickets to local Atlanta Braves game.
