Let's shake those winter sillies out!
Medved's special brand of seasonal running nonsense returns with the April Fools-themed Lloyd & Harrier Games on Monday April 1st, 2024
Our Friends at Three Heads Brewing (186 Atlantic Ave, Rochester, NY 14607) will be hosting our shenanigans from start to finish after party. Game play will span a course comprised of many ridiculous and foolish places around the city of Rochester, New York with the usual nonsense.
Registration is required by both Team Captains and Players. Team Captains will need to register and create a team name and then Team Players will register under their team (note that this is a new request, if you've participated in any of our Harrier Games in the past we have only asked captains to register).
Teams of 5 -10 (the most members allowed to collect points on a team are ten participants) will work together to complete challenges and acquire checkpoints within a set time limit of seventy five minutes. Half scavenger hunt, half adventure race, extra foolish nonsense, total fun!
Game day check in will open at 5:30 PM and the Games will start promptly at 6:15 PM. Team captains should have completed check in by 6 PM.
(Each team will be required to carry a cell phone and have access to post on the Medved Facebook Group Home Page) The Team Captain will also be required to have their cell phone on them at all times during the Games.
Don't have a team? No problem, sign up as a Free Agent and join one of the Free Agent teams.
Game Rules:
A choose your own adventure scavenger hunt, where runners earn points by visiting various locations and completing challenges. There may be one or more mandatory checkpoints in addition to several optional CP's.
Your team will receive the scavenger hunt list and area map at The Lloyd & Harrier Games check-in on game day.
To claim your points for each location/challenge, you must post a picture of your entire team at a designated location to the Medved Running & Walking Outfitters Group Facebook page. Please make sure you are a member of this group prior to game day!
Posts are eligible to earn you points between the designated race time (6:15 - 7:30). Any posts after this time will not count.
All participants are required to follow traffic and pedestrian guidelines at all times.
Headlamps & Reflective gear are absolutely required, no exceptions.
