Join us for our Run/Walk for HOPE 5k!
The Run/Walk for HOPE 5k is brought to you by Legacy of Hope Restored and Kappa Alpha Order, Delta Mu chapter.
100% of the race proceeds will benefit Legacy of Hope Restored (LHR), a U.S. based nonprofit that works to feed, educate, and mentor the economically poor and marginalized through meaningful partnerships with schools and organizations in the communities they serve. They currently help support two programs that are empowering children and their families in Cartagena, Colombia and Mendoza, Argentina.
- In Cartagena, Colombia they started a tutoring program to help children falling behind in school get the help that they need to not only survive, but thrive.
- In Mendoza, Argentina they support an educational program that serves at-risk children and families. PEPE's provides educational support, basic needs, and a supportive community for the children and families in their community.
Kappa Alpha Order (Delta Mu) is a social fraternity located at Eastern Kentucky University. Kappa Alpha Order was founded on the principles of Christian Knights and believe, teach, and cherish the high tenets of honor, duty, character, and gentlemanly conduct.

REGISTRATION: The registration is $25 per entrant until April 13, $30 thereafter. Registered entrants under age 10 are free. Online registration closes at midnight on Sunday, April 20. Same day registration is from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. Only Cash and Venmo payments will be accepted at the race. Raffle tickets for amazing prizes will be sold! All entrants registered by 4/20/23 will receive a T-shirt in the requested size, and all others will receive a T-shirt while supplies last.

PACKET PICKUP: We have scheduled our packet pickup on Race Day (Saturday, April 27th from 8-9:25 am at the Race Venue (White Hall State historic site) in Richmond, KY.
SCHEDULE:
8:00 am: Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup
9:30 am: 5k Run/Walk Start
10:45 am: Awards Ceremony and Raffle Prizes

PARKING: Parking will be at the main White Hall parking lot. Please watch for signs and volunteers directing traffic.
