Event Description

Spring is right around the corner and the perfect time to get outside and exercise. Gather up your family and friends and join us for the Child Abuse Awareness 5K and Walk in April.

Child sexual and physical abuse is a hard topic   to think about but it’s even harder to talk about. Children are our tomorrow and they are our most vulnerable population so we need to stand up for them and be their voice because it shouldn’t hurt to be a child.

April is Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month and we would love to see the community come together to celebrate children and show their support and commitment to the Fight Against Child Abuse!

Event details and schedule

5K and walk will start and finish in the garage at the Watertown Police Department located at 128 N. Maple. Registration starts at 9:00 am and 5K/Walk starts at 10:00 am. For safety reasons, no pets, bikes or roller blades please.

$20 per person if pre-registered when registration closes at 10:00am April 26th

$25 per person day of the event

 Participating Kids 12 and under are FREE but a registration form MUST be completed and signed by the parent.

Kids riding in stroller are FREE and no registration form is needed. No shirt will be received.

Register before April 15th if you want to be guaranteed a T-shirt. We will order some extras but they will go fast so registering before we order is recommended.
