Event Description
Adaptive Triathlon
Our goal is to put togther an inclusive triathlon experience for everyone. This year we are offering 3 different levels/ distances for athletes to choose from.
1. Try-athlon- for athletes totally new to the sport and want to give it a try.
- 25 yard swim
- 1 lap bike (150 meters)
- 1 lap run (200 meters)
2. "Try a little harder"- for athletes who are a little more familiar with the sport.
- 50 yard swim
- 2 lap bike (300 meters)
- 2 lap run (400 meters)
3. Triathlon- For experienced athletes in swim, bike, run.
- 100 yard swim
- 4 lap bike (600 meters)
- 4 lap run (800 meters/ half a mile)
What to Bring-
Swim
- Towel
- Goggles
- Life Jacket/other swimming aid (if needed)
- Swim Diaper (if needed)
Bike/ Run
- Bike
- Helmet
- Closed towed shoes (required)
- Dry clothes
- Water bottle
