Come walk with us! Join the Lauren’s Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2024 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida – beginning in Key West! Walk for 3 miles or more…every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal. 

#WhyWeWalk: Together, we’re walking during the month of April – National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month –  to raise awareness, educate communities, and empower survivors.

We'll start at Gulf Coast Children's Advocacy Center at 9:30 am on Saturday April 27, 2024, and walk 2.9 miles to Macedonia Baptist Church where we'll take a water break. Those who wish to finish the walk will continue walking back to Gulf Coast Children's Advocacy Center (another 1.6 miles) where we'll have our final celebration!  Please join us for a fun after party at Gulf Coast Children's Advocacy Center!
