For 20 years, this event has graced our picturesque locale, The current Sunrise Side event evolved from what was the state's premier half-ironman venue to the ultimate "up north" triathlon of the season. While not technically in the north, locals affectionately refer to it as such, signaling the transition from tourist season to a haven for multi-sport athletes.

As the summer crowds dissipate, our charming town transforms into a bustling hub for triathletes. While many stores close their doors for the season, plenty of great restaurants and shops remain open, ensuring visitors can still enjoy the local flavors and unique finds.
