Event Description

This event is a walkathon on May 4th, 2024 in El Dorado County (EDC). This walkathon will raise money for the non-profit Jenna Sue Souza Furst Memorial Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships and a free therapy session to local high school students within EDC. The purpose of the walkathon is to spread mental health awareness with an emphasis on our youth. The trail will start at the EDC Building B Parking Lot (near Veteran's Memorial) and will finish with celebration at the Smith Flat House.

The registration at the event will begin at 8am and will close at 10am. The walk will begin at 9am. T-shirts and raffle tickets will be available for purchase on this website and at the event. Local businesses will be donating fantastic and generous raffle prizes. 

The walk is not a loop. Transportation will provided by Red Hawk Casino from Smith Flat House to the EDC Parking Lot.
