Event Description

Come ROCK THE BLOCKS with Brooke's Kids Fun Run.  Open to all kids 8 and under, this FUN run is just that.  It is NOT a chip timed event, but rather a fun short, two block course that allows the younger kids to participate while the older kids and adults participate in the Get It Dunn Run 5k and half marathon.  All Fun Run participants receive a goodie for completing the event.  Get It Dunn Run race shirts are NOT offered for participants of the fun run.  If your child wishes to participate in the Get It Dunn Run 5k, separate registration is required but if registered for the 5k, your child will get a FREE bib if they wish to also do the Kids' Fun Run.  To get your free Kids' Run bib, please request bib when you pick up your child's 5k bib.

Brooke's Kids' Fun Run is inspired by Brooke Richartz who's motto was "Have fun and do your best".  

Event details and schedule

The run will take place near the Get It Dunn Run post party held at Menomonie City Block 306, on Wilson Avenue.  The race goes around 2 city blocks (approximately .6 miles) and runners will run adjacent to the Get It Dunn Run 5k/Half marathon finish for a portion of the race and finish near the post-race celebration.

Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers for kids 0-4 and 5-8 although the event is not timed.  Top finishers will be recognized at the post-race celebration awards ceremony held in city lot 306.  

Race bibs will be given to all registered kids at packet pick-up times designated for the Get It Dunn Run and are necessary for participation in the event.
