Event Description

The amazing, beautiful, fun Shannon Chapin-Schultz has been a friend to all of us in the Real Estate Industry since
she started at Equity Title back in 2003. Over many years of being a Title Marketer and making friends with
everyone she met, she settled down with Metro Title and loved every minute of supporting all of us in the Real Estate
Field.
Shannon found the love of her life, Brent Schultz, and they got married on April 25, 2022. With Shannon’s 3 boys
and Brent’s 2 boys they made the perfect family together.
Sadly, Shannon started becoming sick, and doctors could not figure out what was causing it until October 2022
when they found she had a rare cancer called Cholangiocarcinoma (Liver Bile Duct).
Shannon fought so hard with every treatment the doctors had provided (Chemotherapy, Surgeries and more) but at
this point there was nothing more they could do. She kept fighting to be with her family & friends, but sadly lost the
fight on February 9, 2024, surrounded by family and friends.
Being a part of the Women's Council of Realtors 5k Fundraiser can help alleviate the financial burden of medical
bills her family has, so Brent can focus more of his time being a single father to 5 boys.
Brent wants to continue to care for and raise the boys since he is the only father they’ve ever known, and that is
what Shannon prayed for.
