Collect rubber duckies along the pathway. Each duck has a simple question for families to discuss how to keep families and friends safe. Children who collect duckies can turn them in for a prize at the end of the 5K at the Bend Women's Expo. Don't forget that entry to the expo is free with race registration.

Get all your ducks in a row! We are asking you to put together a team, participate in our “Freedom Fighter” category, and win the “MOST Ducked Out TEAM” and/or “LARGEST TEAM” in 2024!
Why join this Fun Duck 5k?

Proceeds support IN OUR BACKYARD's mission to create a world where everyone can live in Freedom. Help protect youth and victims of trafficking by creating a pathway to Freedom! Your race protects more than 100 human trafficking victims during our Super Bowl intel operation in partnership with law enforcement and over 10,000 local youth through IOB's prevention program,m Teens Against Trafficking.

IN OUR BACKYARD, established in 2009, is now a survivor-led(2020) national
organization with more than a decade of dedication to the fight against sex and labor trafficking. IOB
links arms in the fight against human trafficking by empowering communities to prevent this atrocity
and creating access to Freedom for victims of human trafficking (HT). IOB Founder Nita Belles was
driven to take action to stop the exploitation of children, women, and men. Her book, In Our Backyard:
Human Trafficking in America and What You Can Do to Stop It has been acclaimed as the primer on
human trafficking in America. In 2020, Cheryl Csiky, a child-trafficking survivor, joined IOB as Executive
Director to further lead the mission and growing needs.
