Event Description

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Violence Intervention Project of Thief River Falls will be holding a 1K/5K walk run event to bring awareness to Stop the Violence and End the Silence of Sexual assault. The race will be held at the Greenwood Walking Trail from 5-7PM on April 26th. Participants that register by April 7th will receive a T-shirt. There will be a candlelight vigil to follow with survivors' stories and refreshments. Prizes will be awarded to winners for each age category.
