Event Description

Adult and Teen Challenge Virginia is a faith based, long-term residential recovery-support program serving women, men and women with children.  We focus on helping each resident find and apply their personal faith in God, empowering them to gain control of and change the course of their life.  We provide a loving home and family-type atmosphere for our residents, making our centers safe places for true life change.  Our organization is always looking for ways to promote community involvement and interaction while raising necessary funds for the ministry. Our programs are not supported by insurance providers or government funding, so our programs rely on donations from supporters and events we host.

The Adult and Teen Challenge Virginia Run for Hope will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Old Mill Park.  Check-in starts at 9:00.  Run starts at 10:00. Participants will have the option to run or walk a traditional 5K.  Children and leashed pets are welcome!  The cost to participate is $35 for ages 5 and up.  A t-shirt and finishing medal come free with registration.

Following the run there will be a gathering of all attendees with giveaways and testimonials from Adult and Teen Challenge residents and graduates. This time of gathering together will be a beautiful way to end our day!
