Event Description

Are you ready to traverse the natural beauty of Oregon's Cascades, High Desert, Klamath Basin, and Willamette Valley? This challenge will take you from the City of Roses to the High Desert of Bend, into the Klamath Basin, through the Rogue River, and into the Willamette Valley as you work from ALSO's Headquarters to support Hubs. 

ALSO HEARTS supports the health, employment, art, residential, technology, and service needs of people experiencing disabilities in their communities. Our hearts are for the people and creating equity, diversity, and equality for all who live in Oregon. Your partnership allows ALSO to connect people with the services and support they need to live empowered lives. 

The challenge is divided into three events and will run from June through August. Each event can be done individually or as a team (up to 5 people per team). Participants can connect their fitness devices (Apple Watch, Fitbit, Garmin) or log their own miles during this event. After completing the challenge, each participant will receive an ALSO HEARTS 2024 medal (1 medal for the entire challenge, not per event). Additional swag will be given to participants who have participated in more than one event during the challenge.
