Are you ready to lace up your sneakers and make a paw-sitive impact in our community? The Morehead-Rowan County Young Professionals Association invites you to join us on May 18, 2024, for the third annual Wag Woof Walk 5K in support of STAR (Saving the Animals of Rowan).

Date: May 18, 2024

Time: Registration begins at 7:00AM and the race begins at 8:00AM

Location: Rowan County Arts Center front lawn.

The Wag Woof Walk 5K is not just a fun-filled event—it's an opportunity to support a worthy cause. By participating in the walk, you'll be helping STAR rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need right here in Rowan County.

Here are just a few reasons to join us for this tail-wagging event:

Make a Difference: Your participation directly supports STAR's efforts to save animals' lives and promote responsible pet ownership in our community.
Family-Friendly Fun: Bring the whole family—human and furry members alike—for a day of outdoor fun and exercise. Racers will have to the option to receive a FREE tee-shirt with the Wag Woof Walk logo in support of our mission to Save the Animals of Rowan. 

 
Meet Fellow Young Professionals: Connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in our community.
Prizes and Giveaways: Win exciting prizes and giveaways throughout the event, including awards for best time in each category/ small, medium and large breed, best overall time male & female racers.
