Event Description
For the first time DMI will be hosting a Stick Horse Derby at our annual Cinco De Derby First Friday!!
Bring the kiddos and head to Governors Square for family friendly music, fun games, and the first ever Downtown Stick Horse Derby!
This event is free but you will need to sign up in advance. There are 12 spots available in each race. If the races fill up fast we may add an additional race per age group. You must pre-register!
-Kids under 10 years old will start at 6pm.
-Kids over 10 years old will start at 6:30pm.
-The Adult race will start at 7pm! Mom and Dad can join in the fun!
The winners of each race will get a candy box from Grandpa Joes candy Shop, right down the road!

It is Cinco de Mayo AND downtown Middletown's kick off to Derby Day Celebrations, on Friday, 5/3/24!
Come see us at the DMI booth Governors Square! From 5-8pm!

Stick Horse Derby:

Derby Hat Contest:
Don your best Derby hats and visit us at the DMI booth to enter into a raffle contest! We will be raffling off Downtown mini baskets! Multiple winners!
DORA Margarita Contest:

Our DORA restaurants and bar establishments are battling for the title of BEST MARGARITA in Downtown Middletown. Come join, grab your scorecard from the DMI Booth then taste and vote for your favorite! $2 samples.
