Event Description

This fun low-key summer 5K will help send two local runners to compete in the 2024 NYC Marathon while also raising funds for the construction of Shoe4Africa's Children's Cancer Hospital in Eldoret, Kenya. This will be the only public children's cancer specific hospital in the sub-saharan East Africa. Come out and join us for an early morning run along the dam as we try to beat the heat, challenge ourselves physically and maybe set a new PR. The course is extremely flat and there should be a nice cool breeze coming off the lake.
