Event Description

Dear friends and colleagues,

Our goal has always been to encourage people to tackle challenges with determination and advocate for a healthy, active way of life. We are thrilled to present the DF-Tri For Fun, DeadFish's first triathlon event.

This Virtual Event provides a unique local triathlon opportunity suitable for beginners and seasoned athletes alike. As summer approaches, let's motivate our youth to swim, bike, and run to stay fit and involved. Join us for a day full of excitement and adventure!

1. The triathlon includes
   1. Swim: 750 meters (.46 mile)
   2. Bike: 20K (12.4 miles)
   3. Run: 5K (3.1 miles)
2. Prizes for top finishers include
   1. Participants will receive an Ironman Roka swimming cap.
3. Rules
   1. This is a virtual event, so it can be held at a location convenient for you.
   2. Only 70 participants who successfully finish the event will receive an Ironman Roka swimming cap.
4. CUT-OFFS
   1. The event will end 4 hours when athletes starts to swim.
   2. Stops, transitions will not be included in your total elapsed time.
   3. CUT-OFF
      1. SWIM CUT-OFF : The athlete will have 40 mins after the athlete starts the swim. 
      2. BIKE CUT-OFF : Athlete will have 2 HOURS AND 30 MINUTES complete the swim and bike.
      3. RUN CUT-OFF : Athlete will have 4 HOURS complete the race regardless of when they start the swim.
   4. Athletes that take longer than 4 hours to compete the entire course will not be eligible for awards (Roka Swim Cap)
