We are thrilled to announce Bel Inizio's Giving Thanks 10th Anniversary 5k/10k/Kids 1k!
The Giving Thanks 5k/10k/Kids 1k offers a fast, fun, and family-friendly course perfect for runners, walkers, and strollers. Held at the beautiful Sugar Land Memorial Park, the event promises an unforgettable experience with its flat, scenic route around a peaceful lake.
We will celebrate this Pinnacle Year with a FUN Post-Race Celebration with music, awards, raffles, delicious breakfast tacos and pie (yes, PIE). We will Raise a glass to toast your amazing race and 10 years of the Bel Inizio Giving Thanks community event! Prosecco & Pies
Impact of Bel Inizio: Bel Inizio, meaning "beautiful beginning" in Italian, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps transitionally homeless women in our Houston community develop self-confidence and life skills through fitness and nutrition. Participants in Bel Inizio’s programs train to complete a 5K, preparing them for the ultimate race — the race for a better life. Over the past decade, Bel Inizio has made a significant impact, empowering countless women to achieve lasting success and brighter futures.

The event schedule:
11/16, Saturday
- 6:00 am ~ Packet Pick Up and Race Day Registration. Registrations completed after 8:15 am will not be entered into the database prior to race start and will not be eligible for awards. We will do our best to get you a shirt at late registration but cannot guarantee it.
- 7:30 am ~ Warm up for Kids 1 K
- 8:00 am ~ 1 K Kids' Fun Run for ages 12 and under
- 8:10 am ~ Warm up for 5k/10K
- 8:30 am ~ 5K / 10K start
- 9:30 am ~ Awards Ceremony and After Party

There is plenty of parking, fun for your cheerleaders, and it is a timed run.
