Event Description
Baja Bike Race is a 73 mile RACE and FUN RIDE through Baja wine country (now over 150 wineries in Baja). The route takes you from the city of Tecate to the city of Ensenada in Baja California Mexico totaling 73 miles through baja wine country. During the ride, you will climb almost 4000' with 4 major hills. To create additional competition amongst riders, we created a race within the race to the top to one of the hills. Competitors with the fastest time will earn themselves King and Queen of the hill! ***If you are not the competitor type, this race is still for you. Riders will be separated by their projected race times, so if you just want to ride and not race feel free.
Our goal is to provide you a well thought out event and increase international tourism in the state of Baja California Mexico through the sport of cycling. Allowing you to be exposed to the hidden gems it has to offer!

THERE WILL BE A SHUTTLE SERVICE AVAILABLE TO GET YOU TO THE STARTING LINE IF YOU ARE STAYING IN ENSENADA OR BACK TO THE STARTING LINE AFTER THE RACE. AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE WHEN YOU BUY YOUR RACE ENTRY ONLINE OR ON SITE. SECURE YOUR SPOT AND BUY ONLINE.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE PICKED UP IN SAN DIEGO AND BE SHUTTLED TO THE STARTING LINE AND THEN BACK TO SAN DIEGO AFTER THE RACE IS OVER. PURCHASE AVAILABLE SOON (Service provided by 5 Star Tours).

PACKET/RACE NUMBER PICK UP
You can pick up your race packet including your number, RFID bike tag, t-shirt, and other swag at one of our pre-race day pick up locations. If you can't make any of these dates, you can pick it up the morning of the race but it is not recommended.

FREE BAG DROP
We will be providing a free bag drop at the starting line. We will provide you with a bag for you to place your items in. Your bag will be waiting for you at the finish line.
FINISHLINE FIESTA
We will be celebration your finsh in Ensenada B.C. Mexico. There will be live bands, cultural dances, slow ride competition, and much more to enjoy while you check out our vendors and food. Baja Bike Race apparel will be sold on site as well.
LIVE TRACK TIMING
Friends and family can follow your progress on the route through live track timing. Link your Facebook/Twitter or a cell phone number to your race entry and we will post your times as you pass our check points along the course instantly (Free of charge).
