🥒The Iron Pickle 5k - Stadium Park, Canton, Ohio- Presented by Canton Pickle Fest 

Get ready for the most dill-lightful race in Canton! The Iron Pickle 5k kicks off the morning of Canton Pickle Fest, taking runners on a scenic route through beautiful Stadium Park and adjoining Monument Park, along the West Branch Trail which follows the Nimishillen Creek.
🥒Whether you run, walk, skip 🥒, or jog, this race is all about embracing the vibrant energy of the festival and getting the community together for a fun, feel-good experience. 

A lot of our fans asked for it... so here it is! The first-ever CPF 5K is ready to go, and we can't wait to see you there! 

Want bragging rights? Add a little brine to your groove and join The Iron Pickle 5k challenge!
      Carry pickles- or a giant inflatable pickle*- across the finish line for bragging rights. Prove you’ve got what it takes to conquer The Iron Pickle 5k challenge!
     If being extra on a run sounds fun, come dressed head to toe in your best pickle gear for a chance to win The Best Dressed Award. 

     After you finish the race, head downtown to Centennial Plaza to get to the heart of Canton Pickle Fest, starting at 10 a.m. Celebrate your run with great food, unique shopping, a DJ, Scavenger Hunt, and of course—the healing electrolyte powers of the All-Mighty PICKLE!

🌟 WHAT MAKES THIS 5K UNIQUE? 🌟

✅ Pickle-Themed Fun – Dress in green or go all out in a pickle costume for a chance to win prizes!

✅ Scenic Course – A beautiful, simple route including a portion along the creek, through Monument Park, and back through Stadium Park to the finish. Great for all levels of fitness. 

✅ Awesome SWAG – Every participant gets a race shirt, bib, and a finisher medal (because you earned that pickle power!).

✅ End the Race and Start the Pickle Fest – After the race, head up to Centennial Plaza for Canton Pickle Fest! Enjoy local vendors, pickle themed food truck menus, pickle lemonad and cocktails, and all the briny goodness and delight that comes with everything Pickle! Awards will be announced on stage at Centennial Plaza at 11am.

✅ Live Timing & Awards – Top finishers in each category will be recognized on stage and the app. Specific awards TBD.

✅ Give Back to the Community – Bring 2 non-perishable food items when you pick up your race packet and receive a special thank-you sticker! All food donations will go to the Stark Hunger Task Force, because Canton Pickle Fest believes everyone should have food in their cupboards. 🥫❤️

Not sure if you should sign up? Don’t get into a pickle over the details. The Iron Pickle 5K is about embracing the vibrant energy of the Canton Pickle Fest and turning it into a neat race theme, all with community and giving back at it's heart. Whether you walk, skip, jog, or finish in 15 minutes flat, this race is fueled by enthusiasm and propelled by an insane love of pickles and the love to run. 

**Pickles and inflatables will be provided to participants who select this option during registration and at early packet pickup, if available. 

Virtual:
Can't participant on race day.  We offer virtual so you can run the event any day/time and log your results.  You can pickup your items during the morning pickup at our event or add on $5 for your items to be shipped to you after our event.  Virtual isn't included in the awards!

Shirts:
We offer t-shirt sizes Adult Small to 2X-Large.  
Shirts will be limited after May 31!

Awards:

Top 1 Female & Male Overall- First Place Will be announced on stage at the Canton Pickle Fest and will earn a special prize. 
Number one finisher in each age group will receive an award. 

Best Dressed - Come dressed in Green from head to toe or in your best Pickle costume!
     Best Dressed wins a special prize and gets recognition on the stage at Centennial Plaza during the Canton Pickle Fest. 

The Iron Pickle - Finisher - Carry a plastic jar of pickles or a large, inflated pickle across the finish line and you will earn an
     impressive Iron Pickle Medal, the first of its kind.

                      All finishers will receive a Canton Pickle Fest 5k medal.                    

All timings will be available on the RunSignUp App and website in age groups, etc.
