Event Description

Join us for the 11th Annual Crown Run, hosted at Francis Marion University by the
Eta Chi chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha for their ongoing commitment to breast cancer education and
research! This exciting race will take place on our beautiful campus, with participants of all ages
encouraged to lace up their running shoes for a worthy cause.

Whether you're an avid runner or just looking for a fun way to support the fight against breast cancer, the Crown Run offers a spirited, community-centered atmosphere. Proceeds from the event will go directly to the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation.

Race Day Schedule:

• Packet Pickup 7:45-8:20

• Race Start Time  8:30am

• We will have an opening welcome message before the race where we will welcome everyone and

  explain why we host our race and recognize sponsors, throughout the race we will

  also recognize sponsors, once everyone is done we will do announcements and

  awards.

• Shirts will be given for free to those who sign up by March 28th, 2026. Shirts will not be able to be purchased after this date!

5K Awards: (Overall Awards are based on Gun Time) 

• Overall Male / Female (One Male and One Female)

• Age Group Awards for Male / Female (Top 2)

5K Age Groups:

• 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

5K Fees:

• Registration Price up to April 17: $40

• Day of Race Price: $45
