Event Description
Ruta del Vino is a combined race & fun ride on a 36 mile loop, climbing El Tigre & touring 25 wineries through the Guadalupe Valley to a Wine Festival with live music, wine tastings, and food pairings from Baja's best chefs! Competitors race for prize packages and trophies. All participants are provided with a finisher medal, chip timing, sag support, bike repair, medical support, bicycle accident insurance, purified water, live music, and clean restrooms. Food is not provided on the event course but is available for purchase at the Finish Line Fiesta.
Registration $60 - Entry to the event, ride number, timing chip, medical wristband, finisher medal, purified water, Powerade, clean portable toilets and hand-washing stations, bicycle accident insurance, first aid, bicycle repair, and sag support.
Elite Upgrade $10 - Additional fee for entry to the elite corral and qualification to race. The remaining riders follow immediately behind. NOTE: Timing chips measure mat-to-mat, start-to-finish, and not the elapsed time since the 10:00 a.m. start.
Jersey $50 - High quality dry fit with 18" zipper and three pockets on back in both men’s and women’s cuts. Jerseys must be picked up at the event. You must have a pull tag with a "jersey" validation sticker to redeem for your jersey - no exceptions. Guaranteed in stock or we will either make more and mail it to you with free shipping or send you a refund.
T-Shirt $12 - High quality pre-shrunk cotton blend in both men's and women's cuts. Shirts must be picked up at the event. You must have a pull tag with a "shirt" validation sticker to redeem for your shirt - no exceptions. Guaranteed in stock or we will either make more and mail it to you with free shipping or send you a refund.
Bike Storage $4 - BICYCLES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE WINE FESTIVAL. Secure storage at the Finish Line Fiesta with security guards provided to protect your bicycle and personal belongings while you party.
Mail Packet $5 - If you select this option, your ride packet will be mailed to you via USPS First Class mail within two weeks of registering. This option is ONLY FOR U.S. ADDRESSES. If you do not select this option, your ride packet will be available for pick up at Will Call.
