Event Description
With 7, 14, 21, and 28-mile race options, the UltraTrek Challenge at Lake Rickabear in Kinnelon, NJ, is a scenic trek through the trails and winding paths of the area. Participants will journey through varied terrain to push their mental and physical capabilities. Snack/beverage stations and restrooms will be available every 2.5 miles of the course.
Trek Day Information
UltraTrek Rickabear kicks off at 7am on September 28, 2025. The starting line will be open from 7am to 10am with the post-trek party starting at 11am. It is not a race, but it is a timed event and walkers will have 10 hours to complete the course. Bibs can be mailed or picked up the morning of the event. **IF YOU REGISTER AFTER 9/21/25, BIBS MUST BE PICKED UP IN PERSON. A friend or relative can pick up a bib if you can't attend. Complimentary parking is available at an offsite parking lot located 5-10 minutes from the event with shuttles running back and forth the entire day. A charter bus running from Midtown directly to Lake Rickabear will also be available the day of the event. Finishers will receive a custom t-shirt and velcro patch. Level 3 and 4 participants will also qualify to earn our coveted UltraTrek Grey Wolf medal. Refreshments and food will be available after the race.
