Event Description

6 HOUR STRICT TIME LIMIT.  The Jack and Jill Downhill Marathon in Montana, located in Livingston (also known as Yellowstone Country), is a USATF-sanctioned course that qualifies for the Boston Marathon. The marathon features a total net elevation drop of 2,300 feet from the start to the finish. Racers begin 18 miles up Mill Creek Road, proceeding to East River Road, and finish at Pine Creek along the Yellowstone River. Livingston is situated 26 miles east of Bozeman and 44 miles north of Yellowstone National Park.
