Event Description

Don't miss this chance to swim point-to-point across a shipping channel with 300 other swimmers!

This 1.2-mile open-water swim begins in the clean, clear waters of the outer harbor in New Bedford, MA and ends with a pancake breakfast and awards ceremony on the beach in Fairhaven.

Open to ages 11 and up. Fully supported event with robust safety protocol. Swim solo, with a team, or with a kayak escort – all are eligible for awards and prizes. The Buzzards Bay Swim is a fundraiser for clean water: $25 to register/$150 fundraising minimum per swimmer/youth teams raise $200 per every four swimmers.
