Event Description

Join the RUNegades Running Club for a four-hour celebration of movement, community, and what we’re all truly capable of. This isn’t a race—it’s a vibe. This is a team-based event hosted at the Phoenixville Highschool track.

We’re inviting runners, walkers, and anyone who loves movement to show up, team up, and take part in a joyful, inclusive challenge that brings people together and breaks down barriers to running. Join any RUNegades team if you're registering solo!

It’s simple: Run or walk as many or as few laps as you want in four hours as a team.

Did we mention… it’s free? 

Global Running Day is on June 4th, so this day is all about celebrating what it means to run freely—on your terms. 

🏃‍♀️ How It Works:

1. Run as many or as few laps as you want in four hours as a team (¼ mile, on the track)

2. This is a Team based event: Minimum of 2, maximum of 10 people (why not get team shirts or coordinate outfits?)

   • Don't have a team? JOIN ANY RUNEGADES TEAM on the registration page! We'd love to have you 😊 

   • Up to 3 people from each team can be on the track at once, and no minimum amount need to be on at any given time (**3 subject to change based on number of registrants)

   • Recommended that your team captain registers first, so that you can join their team upon registration

3. Each hour will feature a fun, optional theme or challenge to keep the energy high

   • One of the hours will be a costume theme (dress/think appropriately!)

4. The team with the MOST laps completed will have win a prize (stay tuned)

5. Track your own team’s progress 

🎉 What to Expect:

• We WILL have an aid station, but it’s encouraged to bring your own fuel, water, snacks, etc.

• No frills, no medals, no race shirt.

• Just a good time, surrounded by good people. Zero pressure to perform—just show up, move, and connect

• Awards for top teams + best costume, best team vibe, etc.

• Music, laughter, and fun

• Free samples, giveaways, and surprises from partners

✍️ Logistics

• 📍 Phoenixville High School Track 

• We will start by 8:15am, if not sooner.

• Bring a tent, blankets, chairs if you want - get comfortable!

💲Cost: 

IT’S FREE. However if you’d like to make a donation to help us defray the cost of the festivities, you can do so on the signup page. Any donations that exceed our costs will be passed along to Phoenixville Area Community Services.
