Event Description
The LA Tri Series is back in 2025 for a historic 40th year of good-time competition. The longest running triathlon series in the US features courses for all levels of competitors, from first-time triathletes to grizzled veterans of the tri-sport world.
Each course and distance at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park, the longtime home of the LA Tri, begins with an open water swim on the glassy waters of Puddingstone Reservoir, accelerates into a gorgeously looped bike course defined by right-hand turns and gently rolling hills and finishes with a well-shaded run along the treelined pathways of Bonelli Park.
While the Super-Sprint Tri offers a beginner-friendly course that gets you back in-time for breakfast (perfect for your first triathlon), the Championship Distance is ideal for all athletes looking to step-up their game, hit a mid-training time-trial or who just want to get up and go fast.
Finally, this year we welcome the Iron Bruin Collegiate Triathlon, a mid-distance event where collegiate triathletes from all schools can rep their school colors and compete for ever-valuable bragging rights.
Join us on October 4th at Bonelli park as we celebrate another year of triathlon history with fun competition and good people at the LA Tri!
