Event Description

Race the River is a sprint-distance triathlon that takes place in beautiful Coeur d’Alene Idaho.  It starts with a 0.5 mile swim curving to the right with the mild current of the Spokane River, just as it leaves crystal clear Lake Coeur d’Alene.  Athletes transition onto their bikes through the modern North Idaho College campus and navigate an exciting 15+ mile bike course.  Exiting transition, runners take to the Centennial Trail for a 3.01 mile out and back run along the banks of the Spokane River.
