Event Description

Shepherds of the Meek is a mission to serve organizations run by Cathoic Sisters in developing nations that focus on the basic needs of the children in their care. Our focus has been in Colombia, S.A., but ultimately for any child, anywhere, whose immediate health and safety are in danger. Their families have abandoned many. Some are victims of domestic violence. Many are victims of street violence. If we do nothing, they will starve, turn to a life of abuse, addiction, crime, sex trafficking, etc….

100% of the profit from the race primarily assists with building repairs and/or building-related operational costs. We also need help with educational supplies and general aid for the sisters.

Event details and schedule

Our 1 mile and 5K will be held at the beautiful Lilburn City Park. The 1 mile and 5K courses follow the paved park path. It is an easy trial and follows a pretty wooded path. 

Both the 1 mile and 5K will begin promptly at 9:00 am. You may pick up your race t-shirt begining at 7:30 am on race day. Race numbers will be provided for the 5K only. 

Please be sure to sign the waiver upon chekcout and bring an ID on race day. Dress appropriately for the weather. 

There is plenty of parking at the park both Main Street and. and Railroad Ave.
