Event Description

Durango Nordic is hosting a biathlon running race on Saturday, August 2nd, at Santa Rita Park in Durango for youth and adults. Prior to the race, we will have a clinic with instruction on how to use the laser rifles, which will be provided by US Biathlon. ONLY LASER RIFLES WILL BE ALLOWED AT THE EVENT. Please do not bring any other biathlon rifles. 

Athletes will run one lap, shoot, run another lap, shoot, and finish with a running lap. Missed shots result in a penalty lap (which is shorter than the regular lap).
