Event Description
A glorious weekend of gravel riding, fine foods, and educational/roundtable discussions around endurance cycling training plans. Club Spinistry Titanium members save $150, all other members save $75! Not a member already? Signup includes a $75 credit towards any Club Spinistry 12 month membership.
The ride routes will utilize primarily public unpaved roads throughout Jack and surrounding counties. There are also various trails in the park that riders might utilize at their own discretion. Rides are considered self supported and self navigated. Route details including available stops/amenities will be provided to registered riders the week of the meetup.
Option 1 includes Friday and Saturday night tent camping OR you can book your own RV site or a private air conditioned cabin.
Option 2 includes a bunk in a 4 person air conditioned cabin both Friday and Saturday nights.
Self navigated riding options each day from 30ish to 65ish miles. Spinistry Chow provided Friday evening and Saturday morning, Chef Brad multi course dinner will be the main attraction Saturday evening. Sunday grab and go breakfast available as well. Feel free to bring your own food if you have any dietary restrictions or just aren't into culinary surprises. We will have snacks and cold drinks available all weekend as well but we will NOT be providing any alcohol (it is a Texas State Park).
The plan is to finish riding before the heat really kicks in each day. We will have discussion sessions around the Riding Every Day training apporach, endurance nutrition, navigation, etc.
Attendees are responsible for their own Texas State Parks facility entry fee. We encourage everyone to invest in an annual pass. We hope to incorporate exposure to the Texas State Parks system with future meetups as well.
Please be aware that pricing increases $25 with every 4 signups. Register early for the best price. Total signups will be limited to 16. We do offer a foul weather/change of plans guarantee. While we are unable to offer refunds, any fees can be applied towards a future Spinistry event or Club membership if you are unable to attend for any reason.
