Event Overview:
Join us for our 1st annual Jack and Allie Superhero 5k on Sunday, September 28th, 2025, at Waterfront Park, Clermont, FL. Whether you're running or walking, you're helping make a difference! All profits from this 5k support Jack and Allie's mission of giving grants to children with special needs in Central FL to help cover the costs of needed therapies and tuition. Can't make it in person? No worries! You can participate virtually and receive a 5k t-shirt and medal!
Event Details:
Date: Sunday, September 28th, 2025
Location: The start and finish line will be in the grassy area in front of the Highlander Building (330 Third, St., Clermont, FL 34711)
Start Time: 7:30am
Award Ceremony: 8:45am
Overall Male and Female (top 3), Masters Male and Female (top 1) and Top 3 Male and Female: 9 & under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Optional: Dress like your favorite superhero (or villain!) to participate in the costume contest!
Race Entry Includes:
- Professional timing
- 5k T-shirt
- Finishers Medal
- Post-race snacks and beverages
- Awards for top 3 finishers in each category
Packet Pick-Up:
Location: Dash Sports, 741 W Montrose St, Clermont, FL 34711
-September 27th: 1-5pm
Race Day: 6:15-7:15 am at the Highlander Building (patio)
You may pick up race bibs for others as long as you have their QR code and the correct spelling of their name. Packets not picked up by race morning will not be held or shipped out.
Costume Contest:
Dress up in your favorite superhero (or villain) costume for a chance to win a prize in the following categories:
- Best Kids Costume (14 and under)
- Best Woman's Costume
- Best Male Costume
- Best Team Costume
Parking:
Please refer to the Clermont City Parking Map for nearby lots. Attached below as well.
Strollers & Dogs:
Strollers- Please line up and start at the back of the pack.
Dogs- Dogs are NOT allowed on the course. If you have a service dog, please contact the race director in advance. All runners with approved service dogs must start the race at the back of the pack and must be leashed at all times. Dogs cannot run with a retractable leash.
Race Donations:
All profits and donations from the 5k will benefit Jack and Allie, a 501c3 nonprofit that gives grants to children with special needs in Central FL to help fill in the gap for needed therapies and tuition when traditional scholarships and insurances fall short.
Awards Ceremony:
The awards ceremony will take place around 8:45AM. Awards to the Overall Male and Female (top 3), Masters Male and Female (top 1) and Top 3 Male and Female: 9 & under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
The fun isn't over after the 5k! The Jack and Allie Family Fun Day will take place at 11am at Waterfront Park! Don't miss out on great music, food trucks, local vendors, bounce houses, animal encounters, and more!
