Step into something good—really good. The Good Medicine 5K & Fun Walk is more than a race—it’s a celebration of what keeps us well: fresh air, strong hearts, good neighbors, and care that meets people where they are.
Hosted by the Free Clinic of Powhatan, this event invites runners, walkers, and wellness seekers of all kinds to come together in support of our region’s only free, full-service health clinic. Whether you run for the cause or walk for the joy, every step is a dose of Good Medicine.
Race Details
- 5K Run/Walk through scenic Powhatan Village (chip-timed)
- 1 Mile Fun Walk for all ages and fitness levels
- Start and finish at the Free Clinic of Powhatan
- Strollers, wheelchairs, etc. welcome!

After the race, stick around for our Fresh Start Fair—a lively, health-themed market featuring:
