Event Description

Join the Friends of Reston on Sunday, October 5 for their 5th Annual Friends of Reston Fall 5K, to help raise funds for their scholarship and enrichment programs. All proceeds for this event support the Friends of Reston, a 501(c)3 supporting organization of Reston Association.

The race will start and finish at Browns Chapel Park. Race will start at 8:00 am
Runners will run along the Reston paved trails.

Registration Fees:
5K - $35 through August 31
        $40 September 1 through September 30
        $50 October 1 through Race Day.

5K (14 & Under) - $25 through August 31
                           $30 September 1 through September 30
                            $35 October 1 through Race Day.

On-Line registration will remain open through Race Morning. All registrations must be completed on-line.

Packet pick up will be at the Browns Chapel Park (1575 Brown's Chapel Rd, Reston, VA 20191) on Saturday, October 4 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am

Runners registered before September 14 will be guaranteed a commemorative race shirt, all others will be first come first served basis.

Awards will be given to the overall male & female top 3 finishers, as well as the top male and female finisher in the following age groups; 9 & under, 10-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 60-69, 70-79 and 80+.

Strollers are welcome!
