Event Description

The Boston Triathlon is excited to host the 11th annual KIDS DAY SPLASH & DASH, taking place on Saturday, August 16, 2025. All participants will receive a t-shirt and a medal.

There will also be a FUN RUN for any child under the age of 7!

Event details and schedule

Check in begins at 1:00pm and all events begin at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Carson Beach, South Boston. Registration is available beginning at 1:00pm on the Mother's Rest Field next to Carson Beach, off Day Blvd in South Boston. Event starts with a FUN RUN for any child under the age of 7!

Following by the Splash & Dash consisting of a swim followed by a run and will offer four different age groups:

Ages 13-15: Swim 200 yards, Run 2K

Ages 11-12: Swim 200 yards, Run 2K (Untimed)

Ages 7-8 and Ages 9-10: Swim 100 yards, Run 1K (Untimed)

The swimming will take place along the beach near the McCormack Bathhouse and will be in shallow water. The run will be near Carson Beach and Mother’s Rest Field.
