Event Description

Join us for the inaugural Abington Day 5K and Kids' Dash. These races kick off a weekend of fall celebrations in Abington Township. For more information about Abington Day, click here for the website. 

The 5K race starts and ends in Roslyn Park, with a course that goes through the Roslyn neighborhood. There are rolling up-hills on the first half, with the second half coming downhill. The race will begin at 8:30 a.m.

There will be awards for the top three finishers in each gender category, with an award for the first place finishers in each gender category who are Abington residents. 

The Kids' Dash will start at 8:00 a.m. and will be on the baseball outfields. The Kids' Dash will have staggered start times for age groups. Every child who participates will receive a medal. 

The information and sign-in table will be at the basketball courts, next to the Patrick Kerr Memorial Skatepark. 

There are three parking lots at Roslyn Park.
