Event Description
A Hyrox Half Sim is a workout that simulates half the distance or repetitions of a full Hyrox race. It's designed to help athletes prepare for the full Hyrox event, allowing them to practice the running and functional fitness stations at a reduced intensity. The Half Sim consists of 500m runs interspersed with half the distance or reps of the standard Hyrox workout stations.
This event is for Hyrox Singles only. No Doubles or Relays available.
Runs: 500m runs instead of the full 1000m in a standard Hyrox.
Stations: The workout includes the standard Hyrox stations, but with half the distance or reps:
Ski Erg: 500m
Sled Push: 25m (at race weight)
Sled Pull: 25m (at race weight)
Burpee Broad Jumps: 40m
Row: 500m
Farmers Carry: 100m (at race weight)
Sandbag Lunges: 50m (at race weight)
Wall Balls: 50 (at race weight)
Race Day Details
- Race is a wave start, with athletes starting every 15 minutes.
- Start Times will be emailed individually on Thursday the week before the event.
- Family and Friends are welcome to come and support free of charge.
