Event Description

Welcome to “The Nation’s Best” Regional and National XC Championships.  With the cancellation of the Foot Locker Cross Country series announced on August 20th of this year, thousands of runners across the country are left looking for a quality post-season race. They are in search of a quality competition and one that will allow them to compete for an individual ranking at both the regional and national levels.

The good news is that the people responsible for the Foot Locker West Regional races on the legendary Mt SAC course for over 25 years have stepped up and have planned just such an event for you. The great news is that the meet is going to happen this year!  That means that all of you already deep into your travel plans for this year’s event, will still be able to take part.  

We will be presenting a series of races that will be open to high school athletes from around the country.  We are going to be able to offer races and coordinate the results and the timing in a way that will rank you both regionally and nationally at your grade level and overall.  In addition, there will be an opportunity for non-high school runners to take part in our always-popular ‘Open Race’ at the end of the day.

Please plan on joining us this year on the first Saturday in December!  It will be a great meet and the perfect place to earn your regional, national, and overall historical ranking.
