Event Description

Sonic Endurance and V3PT  are hosting a 5k training program at North Wales Running.    Join us for an 8 week program that will prepare you to finish the MoTown Turkey Trot

 

This program includes:

  • 8 week training program with your choice of run/walk or run
  • Weekly newsletter
  • Weekly Sunday morning run/walk at North Wales Running Company 7:30 am
  • Option to join Tuesday group run at 6:30pm from North Wales Running
  • Discounted race entry
  • Welcome zoom call on Wednesday September 25th at 7pm
  • Option to add Strength/Mobility for 4 sessions 

What you can expect:

5k Run/Walk Training Program:

  • This program is great for anyone new to running 
  • Progressing from walking to slowly incorporating running
  • Designed to help you build endurance gradually without overwhelming you and/or your body

5k Run Training Program:

  • This program is designed for the athlete who is already comfortable with running, and looking to progress in speed
  • Includes more run time than walk time in the training plan

5k Training Program with Strength and Conditioning:

  • This combines the Run/Walk OR Run Training Program with 4 Strength and Mobility sessions with local PT, Jess (V3PT)
  • Strength and Mobility session will occur after 4 Sunday Runs on the following dates:
  • 10/12 - Hip mobility for the runner
  • 10/19 - Hip Stabilization program
  • 11/2 - Core Stability Program
  • 11/9 - Combined Stability/Mobility program for Injury Prevention
