Join us for “5 for 5th”, a virtual 5K held in loving memory of Derrick, who would be celebrating his 5th birthday this year. This event is more than a run or walk — it’s a tribute to Derrick’s life and a call to action to help prevent sleep-related deaths through awareness, education, and resources  

Whether you run, walk, or stroll, you’re invited to complete your 5K anytime anywhere during our event window. Participate solo, with family, or create a team to honor Derrick together.

Your participation helps raise awareness about safe infant sleep guidelines, supports caregivers with education and resources, while honoring and sharing Derrick’s light. Let’s move with meaning. Let’s make sleep safer for every baby. We will walk from his birthday to his death date.
