Join your coworkers for the Athene Employee 5K run, relay and 1 mile walk — the official kickoff to the Athene Moves Together Fall Challenge (October 2–19)!

This fun and energizing event is designed to support health, wellness, and teamwork while launching our two-week challenge. Whether you’re an experienced runner, a casual walker, or simply looking for a way to get active with colleagues, there’s an option for you:

5K Run/Walk – Set your own pace and enjoy the challenge of a full 5K.
5K Relay – Team up and split the distance for a fun, shared experience.*
1-Mile Walk – Enjoy a shorter route while joining the community spirit.
Virtual Option – Participate from anywhere and keep moving toward prizes!

📍 Location & Time: Thursday, October 2, 3:00–5:00 PM, Athene campus backyard at 7700 Mills Civic Pkwy.

🎽 Race Bibs: Available the week of the race in the Champions Fitness Center. More details will be sent closer to race day about pick-up.

💬 Eligibility: This event is open to Athene employees only. Please do not promote participation to others outside of the organization.

☀️ Weather Policy: Event will be held rain or shine unless severe weather conditions require cancellation.

🎶 After the Race: Stick around for music, games, refreshments, and time to celebrate together! It’s a great chance to relax, connect with coworkers, and keep the energy high.

📸 Event Photos: Photos/videos may be taken to celebrate and share our wellness journey as part of Athene Moves Together.

This kickoff is all about promoting healthy lifestyles, building camaraderie, and celebrating wellness together as one Athene family. Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, come be part of this exciting day of fitness and fun!

*After sign-up, we’ll contact those registered for the relay to assign teams and make sure you and your chosen teammates share the same bib number.
