Event Description

Brandywine Creek State Park long carries the reputation of being the toughest cross-country course in Delaware.  It may be tough, but its varying terrain offers something for everyone.   From open meadow, punchy hills, to windy single track under the tall tree canopy and stone walls built in the 1800's.  Come join us in this grassroots trail run-raiser with a mission to promote movement, nature and benevolence.  Participants have the option to run/walk a 5-mile or a 10-mile marked course.  This is a no frill, no swag, no on-course aid station, no timing event with a suggested cash or venmo day-of-event donation of $25.  This will help to cover costs associated to produce this event.  And part of the proceeds will be donated to two Delaware local non-profit organizations -

Delaware Youth Cycling League - Empowering youth to become the best version of themselves: both on and off the bike.  #morekidsonbike.

The Ronald McDonald House of Delaware - Providing essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare.

November 15, 2025 / Saturday (rain date Nov 16, 2025)
Start time 8:15a (park opens at 8am, day of bib pickup at the parking lot)
Brandywine Creek State Park - Hawk Watch Parking Lot
41 Adams Dam Road, Wilmington, Delaware 19807

If you are inclined, please bring a snack/drinks to share post-race under the pavillion.  I look forward to having you join me this November morning to celebrate each other as one community.
