The 'Because I Can' Virtual 5K is a global event inviting participants from around the world to run or walk in support of the 'Because I Can' documentary. This powerful film follows the lives of those living with MS, telling stories of grit, strength, and determination.

With a fundraising goal of $150,000, the virtual run empowers people everywhere to support a cause that impacts millions while helping this film cross the finish line.

After crossing the finish line, 'Because I Can' will prepare for a national tour. In partnership with the National MS Society, the film will be screened at events across the country beginning in March 2026 to raise awareness and support for the MS community.

So, what is a 'virtual run'?

A virtual run is a race you complete on your own schedule and at your own pace. Run or walk from anywhere — your favorite trail, a city sidewalk, or a treadmill. You track your own distance, share your experience, and celebrate knowing that your steps support a powerful story and an important cause.
